Elementos de la policía municipal de Ecatepec, detuvieron a Raúl Alfredo “N” de 22 años de edad, luego de que intentara huir a bordo de una bicicleta roja tras haber asaltado con violencia la sucursal de la tienda OXXO ubicada en avenida América, esquina con calle Amazonas en la colonia Las Américas.
La encargada de la tienda de conveniencia avisó a los efectivos de seguridad que se encontraban haciendo operativo de presencia en la zona, que momentos antes había ingresado un sujeto que le había robado productos y dinero en efectivo.
Al percatarse de la presencia de los policías, el implicado intentó huir por lo que comenzó una persecución logrando la detención en la calle Nicolás Bravo casi esquina con avenida Independencia.
El detenido cuenta con varias carpetas de investigación por 15 robos con violencia, según explicó un representante legal de la cadena comercial OXXO en la zona de las Américas y Jardines de Morelos (Américas 4, Sucre y Cerró del Chapulín).
Cabe destacar que hace 15 días fueron detenidos otros dos sujetos, que junto con Raúl Alfredo conformaban una célula delictiva dedicada al robo de la cadena de tiendas en la zona.
Estas acciones forman parte de la nueva estrategia de seguridad implementada en todo el municipio por instrucciones del alcalde Fernando Vilchis Contreras, con la cual se ha logrado disminuir un 20% la incidencia delictiva durante el primer mes del actual gobierno.
