La puesta en escena “De Veracruz a la República de Juárez” es un proyecto cultural que engalanó el Festival Internacional de Cultura Atizapán 2019.
Con la ópera “De Veracruz a la República de Juárez” que puso en escena a Benito Juárez, Maximiliano y Carlota de Habsburgo y Margarita Maza de Juárez, los asistentes, especialmente los jóvenes, pudieron conectarse con el pasado histórico de México disfrutándolo en el presente mediante un show contemporáneo.
En el escenario principal del Festival Internacional de Cultura Atizapán 2019, la ópera fue narrada a través de la obertura instrumental “Veracruz Fortaleza de Juárez”; los capítulos “Igualdad ante la ley”, “Corona y tiara Vs. Compás y escuadra”, “La República errante” y “La Corona de laureles”; y el epílogo “Entre los individuos como entre las naciones “.
Este proyecto cultural fue dirigido por el compositor Israel Cahue y escrito por Martín Quintanilla Sánchez Juárez. Los textos fueron realizados por académicos especialistas en cada tema y adaptados por el compositor a cada una de las piezas musicales.
Los personajes de “De Veracruz a la República de Juárez” fueron interpretados por la soprano Olivia Gorra, como La Patria; el tenor Rodrigo Petate, Benito Juárez; Regina Solórzano, Margarita Maza de Juárez; la soprano Claudia Rodon, Carlota de Habsburgo; y Ángel Macías como Maximiliano; acompañados por músicos de renombre de prestigiadas orquestas de la Ciudad de México.
La Presidenta Municipal Ruth Olvera Nieto reafirma su interés por impulsar la cultura y las artes, pues además de que son medios ideales para alimentar el espíritu de las personas, es una vía para recuperar el tejido social de la comunidad.
