Tlalnepantla de Baz, Estado de México; 01 de agosto de 2019.- Pese a que en Tlalnepantla se considera como uno de los municipios con un cobro alto en la tarifa del servicio de agua potable, sumado a una deficiencia tecnica operativa, esta Mañana La Secretaría de Obra Pública, a través de la Comisión Técnica del Agua del Estado de México (CTAEM), informó que siete de los 20 municipios AUTORIZADOS para INCREMENTAR sus TARIFAS de cobro por servicios de agua potable durante el presente ejercicio fiscal, han reportado avances.
La autorización de ajuste se realiza con base en las tarifas estipuladas en el Código Financiero del Estado de México y Municipios, precisó personal de la CTAEM. Con el propósito de regular e incrementar las eficiencias en la prestación del servicio, el Gobierno del Estado de México y el Congreso local, a través de la Comisión de Legislación y Administración Municipal, establecieron acciones para monitorear y evaluar las tarifas que esos organismos operadores aplican.
Por ello, la Comisión Técnica del Agua del Estado de México, estableció un mecanismo de seguimiento para conocer el cumplimiento de la disposición. La autorización legislativa fue otorgada para que se aplique durante el Ejercicio Fiscal 2019, a los municipios de Acolman, Amecameca, Atizapán de Zaragoza, Atlacomulco, Coacalco, Cuautitlán, Cuautitlán Izcalli, El Oro, Huixquilucan, Jilotepec, Lerma, Metepec, Naucalpan, Tecámac, Tepotzotlán, Tlanepantla, Toluca, Tultitlán, Valle de Bravo y Zinacantepec, en función a sus necesidades operativas.
Al respecto, también se exhortó a los organismos operadores de los 20 municipios a incrementar la recaudación, pero también sus eficiencias comerciales y físicas, en beneficio de las familias mexiquenses. La CTAEM indicó que, de no cumplir con las disposiciones en la materia, aplicables en este año fiscal, las propuestas tarifarias que hagan los organismos operadores para el año 2020, podrían ser rechazadas.
