La mandataria capitalina cuestionó la posible relación entre los panistas y el restaurante
La jefa de Gobierno de la Ciudad de México, Claudia Sheinbaum, criticó que diputados del Partido Acción Nacional (PAN) salieran a defender al restaurante Sonora Grill -que fue denunciado por presuntos actos de discriminación- por lo que cuestionó sobre una posible relación entre los legisladores de oposición y el restaurante.
La mandataria capitalina detalló que el Consejo para Prevenir y Eliminar la Discriminación (Copred), sigue trabajando en la investigación para cerciorar si hubo actos de discriminación en el restaurante ubicado en Polanco.
“Bueno son dos temas. Uno, sigue la Copred haciendo su trabajo de investigación y en caso de encontrarse en efecto prácticas de discriminación sí va a haber sanción administrativa y además un llamado de y un reconocimiento público de que en efecto estas prácticas se llevaban a cabo”, comentó.
“Y la otra cosa que llama la atención, cómo el PAN, muchos diputados del PAN han decidido defender el Sonora Grill, entonces pues sí vale la pena preguntarse qué relación hay ahí entre este partido político o los diputados de este partido político y este restaurante”, agregó.
Sheinbaum agregó que han sido “varios, varios, varios” los panistas que han defendido al Sonora Grill, por lo que reiteró que “es de llamar la atención por qué esta defensa de un partido político, de diputados de un partido político, a una empresa de este tipo, cuando está acusada de discriminación”.
Señaló que los integrantes de Acción Nacional deberían de exigir la investigación del presunto caso de discriminación, en vez de defender al restaurante, pues criticó que “es al revés, el PAN sale a la defensa del establecimiento mercantil. Entonces, habría que preguntarse cuál es la razón”.
“Yo creo que cualquier diputado o diputada, al revés, tendría que salir a decir: “a ver, que se investigue” un caso tan grave como el que se planteó, en donde separar a las personas de acuerdo con el color de la piel, en un asunto de segregación. Entonces, si se demuestra que la segregación existe en el restaurante, tiene que haber sanciones”, mencionó.
“Frente algo así, cualquier diputado de cualquier partido político debería de haberse salido a decir: “pues que se investigue”, para saber qué es lo que está ocurriendo porque es inadmisible que eso ocurra en nuestro país y en nuestra ciudad”, concluyó.
