Dan 55 años de prisión a feminicida de #Atizapán
Una sentencia de 55 años de prisión recibió un hombre por el delito de feminicidio, luego de que en el 2023, quitó la vida por asfixia a una mujer, en esta demarcación.
La Fiscalía General de Justicia del Estado de México (FGJEM) informó de los años de prisión que un Juez de Control impuso a Eliott Michelle Acuña Figueroa, quién le quitó la vida a su amiga.
El hombre fue detenido en junio del año pasado, en la Ciudad de México, en una acción conjunta de la Fiscalía, Secretaría de la Marina (Semar), Fiscalía Ciudad de México, Secretaría de Seguridad capitalina y mexiquense, así como de la policía municipal de Atizapán de Zaragoza.
Detalló que Eliott Michelle fue encontrado responsable de hechos perpetrados el 21 de junio del año 2023, cuando caminaba junto con la víctima en la calle Coahuila, de la colonia Lázaro Cárdenas, en el municipio de Atizapán de Zaragoza, cuando en algún momento la sometió y le causó la muerte de asfixia por estrangulación, hechos que fueron captados por cámaras de videovigilancia.
La Fiscalía inició la investigación correspondiente, con perspectiva de género, para el esclarecimiento de la muerte de la mujer, así como para ubicar y detener al responsable.
El sospechoso fue detenido el año pasado. Una vez concluido el proceso además de la sentencia de prisión, el Juzgador le fijó multa de 295 mil 659 pesos, la cantidad de 1 millón 556 mil cien pesos como reparación del daño y suspendió sus derechos civiles y políticos.
