En un operativo conjunto fuerzas federales y estatales detuvieron a nueve presuntos generadores de violencia en Nuevo León, entre los que se encuentran integrantes del Cártel del Noreste.
Los arrestos se realizaron en tres acciones separadas en diferentes puntos del estado.
Detención clave con vínculos internacionales
Entre los capturados destaca José “N”, quien cuenta con una orden de aprehensión vigente en Estados Unidos por violación a la libertad condicional, relacionada con delitos de posesión de marihuana y sustancias controladas.
Fue detenido junto a otro individuo en la colonia Miravalle de Monterrey, donde se aseguraron 100 mil dólares estadounidenses, 30 mil pesos mexicanos y un vehículo con placas de Tamaulipas.
Operativos simultáneos en Nuevo León
En otro punto de la capital neoleonesa, específicamente en la colonia Antonio I Villarreal, elementos de seguridad detuvieron a un sujeto que portaba dos armas largas, cuatro cargadores, 43 cartuchos, 54 dosis de marihuana, 36 dosis de metanfetamina, dinero en efectivo y una báscula.

Un tercer operativo en el Fraccionamiento Villas del Jaral, municipio El Carmen, resultó en la captura de tres hombres y tres mujeres.
Al intentar huir al notar la presencia de las autoridades, fueron interceptados y se les encontró en su posesión cuatro armas largas, un arma corta, 15 cargadores, 272 cartuchos, 184 dosis de metanfetamina, 81 dosis de marihuana, cuatro chalecos tácticos y una báscula.
Según el propio García Harfuch, los últimos seis detenidos son presuntamente miembros del Cártel del Noroeste, por lo que fue un golpe contundente al crimen organizado en Nuevo León.

El secretario de Seguridad y Protección Ciudadana, Omar García Harfuch, destacó que estos operativos contaron con la participación coordinada de:
- Secretaría de la Defensa Nacional
- Secretaría de Marina (Semar)
- Fiscalía General de la República (FGR)
- Guardia Nacional
- SSPC
- Fiscalía de Nuevo León
- Fuerza Civil estatal
Procedimiento legal
En su comunicado oficial, la SSPC detalló que “a todos los detenidos se les informaron sus derechos de ley y junto con lo asegurado fueron puestos a disposición del agente del Ministerio Público quien determinará su situación legal y realizará las indagatorias subsecuentes”.
Las autoridades federales reiteraron su determinación de continuar con este tipo de acciones: “Con estas acciones, las instituciones que integran el Gabinete de Seguridad refrendan su compromiso de trabajar en coordinación con autoridades locales en favor de la paz y tranquilidad de la población en todo el país”.
