Omar García Harfuch, titular de la Secretaría de Seguridad y Protección Ciudadana (SSPC), informó sobre el aseguramiento de más de 15 millones de litros de hidrocarburo como diésel, gasolina y destilado de petróleo en operativos realizados en los municipios coahuilenses de Ramos Arizpe y Saltillo.
El decomiso de hidrocarburo de procedencia ilícita se posiciona como uno de los más significativos en lo que va de la administración de la presidenta Claudia Sheinbaum.
La SSPC detalló que una primera intervención se originó por la notificación de policías estatales sobre la presencia de varios carrotanques aparentemente abandonados cerca de una estación ferroviaria en Ramos Arizpe. Al llegar al sitio, las autoridades confirmaron la situación, hallando 33 carrotanques que contenían un total de 3 millones 960 mil litros de hidrocarburo.
En una segunda acción, llevada a cabo cerca de una estación en Saltillo, las fuerzas de seguridad localizaron 96 carrotanques adicionales inmovilizados sobre las vías del ferrocarril. Estos contenían 11 millones 520 mil litros de hidrocarburo.
“En ambas acciones, las unidades no contaban con los documentos que acreditaran su legal traslado y procedencia lícita, por lo que de los hechos se informó al agente del Ministerio Público correspondiente, quien integrará la carpeta de investigación del caso para realizar las indagatorias subsecuentes”, precisó la SSPC a través de un comunicado oficial.
En los operativos participaron elementos de la Secretaría de la Defensa Nacional (Sedena), la Guardia Nacional (GN) y la Fiscalía General de la República (FGR), en coordinación con la Secretaría de Marina (Semar), la Secretaría de Seguridad y Protección Ciudadana (SSPC), personal de seguridad física de PEMEX y autoridades locales.
Ningún detenido
El total de lo asegurado en ambas acciones asciende a 129 carrotanques, sumando 15 millones 480 mil litros de hidrocarburo ilegal. Hasta el momento, no se reportó ninguna persona detenida en relación con estos hechos.
En el contexto nacional, el robo de hidrocarburos, conocido como huachicol, fue identificado como una fuente importante de financiamiento para organizaciones criminales.
Se documentó que grupos como el Cártel Jalisco Nueva Generación (CJNG) establecieron intermediarios en Estados Unidos para la comercialización de crudo, gasolina y diésel extraídos ilegalmente de la infraestructura de Pemex.
Durante la presente administración, se han efectuado diversos aseguramientos de miles de litros en entidades como Baja California, Veracruz, Guanajuato, Querétaro y Tamaulipas.
