El capitán de navío y titular de la Unidad de Protección Portuaria de Altamira, Abraham Jeremías Pérez Ramírez, fue hallado muerto en sus oficinas durante el 8 de septiembre luego de que dicho hombre fuera mencionado por el exdirector de Aduanas de Tampico por presuntos sobornos en una red de huachicol fiscal.

“La institución extiende su más sentido pésame y solidaridad a su familia, amigos y compañeros, reiterando que se les brindarán todos los apoyos necesarios y los que por ley corresponden“, es parte del informe de la dependencia.

La muerte de Pérez Ramírez sucede luego de que apenas el 7 de septiembre pasado Omar García Harfuch, titular de la Secretaría de Seguridad y Protección Ciudadana (SSPC) diera detalles sobre la detención de 14 personas, entre los que hay empresarios y funcionarios de la Marina, por su presunta relación en una red de huachicol fiscal.
Por su parte, la presidenta Claudia Sheinbaum Pardo fue cuestionada en su conferencia matutina sobre el caso. Aseguró que el almirante Rafael Ojeda, exsecretario de la Semar, fue el que denunció posibles irregularidades.
“Leva tiempo hacer estas investigaciones para poder tener las pruebas y judicializarlas. Aunque sea evidente el delito de que viene con un permiso que no es y con eso no se pagaba impuesto, de todas maneras, la investigación de quién está involucrado, cómo están involucrados, no es algo que se pueda hacer en un día”, comentó la mandataria.
Sheinbaum detalló que se le conoce como huachicol fiscal porque se trata de sustancias que no pagaban impuestos, pues se argumentaba que entraban al país de manera temporal para poder ser procesadas y luego exportarlas.
