En un recorrido realizado el viernes se detectó que en un radio de 300 metros de la zona escolar hay 10 establecimientos con venta de alcohol, lo cual está prohibido en el Bando Municipal.
Además, en cuatro de ellos se constató que se dejaba pasar a menores a cambio de consumo o una “propina” de 50 pesos.
Éstos son el Dell & Sing, donde no pedían identificación; el Puro Náufrago, donde se permite que uno no acredite su mayoría de edad si lo acompañan al menos siete personas; La Tuba, en el que piden a los menores 50 pesos para tener acceso, y El Bamboo, en el que la entrada del menor depende del número de personas que lo acompañen o si se comprometen a consumir determinada cantidad de botellas.
El Alcalde, Pedro Rodríguez, ha justificado que pese a que se viola el Bando con la instalación en zona escolar, los bares están amparados.
Sin embargo, el Reglamento Municipal de Comercio lo faculta para retirar la licencia o cerrar los inmuebles que toleren la venta de alcohol a menores.
