La Dirección de Seguridad Pública y Tránsito a cargo del Comisario Eduardo González Castillo, promueve de manera activa los programas necesarios para prevenir la violencia intrafamiliar, escolar y entre comunidades o vecinos, interviniendo de forma respetuosa a través de pláticas y talleres que promueven el acercamiento y el entendimiento entré las personas.
La Subdirección de Prevención del Delito, a través de sus elementos del Escuadrón de Caballería, Grupo de Centinelas y Banda de Guerra lleva a cabo recorridos por colonias conflictivas y de difícil acceso a fin de identificar puntos donde es necesaria la inducción de asesorías para evitar que exista alteración al orden público y en su caso prevenir actos de delincuencia alejando a los jóvenes de las adicciones.
Los uniformados llevaron a cabo recorridos preventivos por las Barrancas de la colonia Peñitas, colonia San Juan Bosco, colonia Margarita Maza de Juárez, Profesor Cristóbal Higuera, San José Jaral y colonia Lomas Lindas II, además de entregar trípticos en escuelas de Hogares de Atizapán conteniendo información respecto a programas de prevención social, teléfonos de emergencia y como enfrentar una contingencia.
De la misma forma los elementos de la Subdirección de Prevención del Delito se entrevistaron con presidentes y representantes vecinales de Consejos de Participación Ciudadana (COPACI) de Jardines de Monterrey, Lomas de Atizapán, Villas de la Hacienda, Asociación de Colonos de Club de Golf la Hacienda, Club de Golf Arboledas y de la colonia Real de Atizapán para atender demandas y dar solución a sus problemas.
Con la implementación de estas pláticas, recorridos y programas el Director de Seguridad Pública y Tránsito Eduardo González Castillo, compromete esfuerzos de la policía municipal para mantener la seguridad, la paz y la tranquilidad de todas las familias de Atizapán y continuar con la política de la Presidenta Municipal Ana María Balderas Trejo, de “Cero Tolerancia” a la delincuencia.
