La esposa del séptimo regidor priísta de Coyotepec, Juan Arriaga Flores, fue hallada sin vida en el paraje El Gavillero, en la carretera Coyotepec-Huehuetoca.
De acuerdo con información del portal de noticias locales Reporteros en Movimiento, el cuerpo de la mujer identificada como Eva Martínez Galván presentaba heridas de arma punzocortante.
El homicidio fue confirmado por la Procuraduría General de Justicia del Estado de México (PGJEM), quien sigue varias líneas de investigación, entre ellas el robo.
La dependencia, dejó en claro que la investigación se realizará desde el punto de vista de “violencia de género”, como lo establece el acuerdo contra la violencia hacia la mujer.
El cuerpo de la mujer, fue encontrado a las 19:30 horas del viernes en al paraje el Gavillero, por lugareños, quienes indicaron que estaba colgado, sin embargo la PGJEM informó que presenta varias lesiones por arma punzocortante; los hechos se inició la carpeta de investigación 493500098416
