En el operativo fueron encontrados envoltorios con droga, una arma de fuego, cartuchos útiles, así como vehículos desmantelados.
Fue cateado un domicilio de este municipio mexiquense, en donde se encontraron estupefacientes, un arma de fuego, cartuchos útiles y un vehículo, informaron agentes de la Procuraduría General de Justicia del Estado de México (PGJEM).
Este operativo fue realizado en atención a una llamada telefónica mediante la cual señalaron que un inmueble localizado en la calle San Luis Potosí, de la colonia México Nuevo, en Atizapán presuntamente era utilizado para actividades relacionadas con la venta de droga, al que llegaron agentes de la PGJEM, en conjunto con personal de la Secretaría de Marina (SEMAR) y de la Comisión Estatal de Seguridad Ciudadana (CES).
Derivado de esta denuncia, elementos de la Procuraduría de Justicia mexiquense realizaron diversas indagatorias, y con los datos recabados, el Agente del Ministerio Público solicitó a un Juez, librar una orden de cateo para este punto de venta de droga, misma que fue otorgada y cumplimentada por Agentes de esta Institución, en conjunto con elementos de la SEMAR y de la CES, quienes brindaron apoyo perimetral durante la movilización.
En este domicilio, los servidores públicos localizaron las siguientes drogas y artículos Cuatro bolsas con hierba verde, con las características de marihuana, Seis piedras al parecer de cocaína, Una pipa, Un arma de fuego calibre 9 mm., Nueve cartuchos útiles calibre .380 mm., Tres casquillos percutidos calibre .380 mm, Un vehículo marca Volkswagen desvalijado y dos motocicletas desmanteladas.
Durante el operativo, fueron detenidas ocho personas, dos de ellas menores de edad, mismas que fueron presentadas ante el Agente del Ministerio Público, autoridad que habrá de determinar su situación legal, sin embargo se les presume inocentes hasta que sea dictada una sentencia condenatoria en su contra.
