Un policía municipal fue asesinado al intentar frustrar el asalto a una tienda Oxxo en la colonia ex Hacienda de El Pedregal, en este municipio; uno de los agresores fue detenido.
Reportes indican que alrededor de las 13:00 horas de hoy, tres sujetos con armas cortas asaltaron la tienda Oxxo localizada sobre la carretera Atizapán-Nicolás Romero, a la altura de la colonia Ex Hacienda de El Pedregal, de lo que se percató un policía municipal.
Afirmaron que el policía estatal, Héctor González Aguilar, de 38 años de edad, logró sujetar a uno de los asaltantes y forcejeó con él, aunque recibió disparo de arma de fuego en la cabeza.
Mencionaron que los tres agresores huyeron a pie del sitio y policías estatales y municipales implementaron un operativo de búsqueda, por lo que lograron detener a uno de ellos.
Añadieron que el policía fue trasladado herido a un hospital para su atención médica, pero falleció más tarde.
La procuraduría de justicia de la entidad inició la carpeta de investigación correspondiente.
