La Secretaría del Ayuntamiento llevó la jornada de servicios Caravanas que Construyen Confianza a la comunidad de San Antonio Zomeyucan, donde participaron alrededor de 10 dependencias del Gobierno de Naucalpan.
En el evento se brindaron 16 servicios, entre médicos, jurídicos y asistenciales, además de entregar 175 canastas alimentarias y cobijas a vecinos en situación de vulnerabilidad que se han visto afectados por la pandemia de COVID-19.
La Secretaria del Ayuntamiento, Claudia Oyoque Ortiz, instó a la ciudadanía a no bajar la guardia durante la pandemia y mantener las medidas preventivas para mitigar riesgos de contagios.
Afirmó que las Caravanas llegarán a las comunidades cada semana, además de otros programas municipales con los que se busca dar cobertura a la población que más lo necesitan.
“La Presidenta Municipal, Patricia Durán, nos instruyó para que les acercáramos todos los servicios a ustedes, debido a la contingencia que ha afectado a todas las comunidades.
“Estas caravanas son solo el inicio de los programas que llevaremos a otras colonias, como el programa de bacheo intensivo por parte de la Secretaría de Servicios Públicos”, señaló Oyoque.
El director del Centro Especializado de Salud Visual del Estado de México, Arturo Castilleja Quiles, señaló que se trabaja de forma coordinada con el Gobierno municipal para otorgar ayuda a bajo costo a quienes no son derechohabientes de algún instituto de seguridad social, ya que en el Estado de México existen cerca de 4 millones de personas con baja visual debido a enfermedades crónico degenerativas.
“Estamos dando el apoyo a todo el Municipio de Naucalpan de nuestro servicio oftalmológico. Hoy venimos para apoyar a la población que no cuenta con los recursos.
“Insto a la ciudadanía a que hagan un chequeo rutinario de sus ojos al menos una vez al año. Desgraciadamente las enfermedades crónico degenerativas, como la hipertensión y la diabetes, generan baja visual y a veces se atienden muy tarde, dando como resultado más de 4 millones de personas con baja visual en todo el Estado de México”, dijo.
En el evento también estuvieron presentes Carlos Trujillo Anell, Secretario de Servicios Públicos; el Coordinador de Protección Civil y Bomberos, Carlos Alejandro Sánchez; la encargada de despacho del Instituto Municipal de Atención a la Salud (IMAS), Rosalba Gualito Castañeda; la Oficial Número 2 del Registro Civil de Ciudad Satélite, Ivett Lilith Carvallo Delfin; y autoridades auxiliares de San Antonio Zomeyucan.
