De enero a marzo, la Subdirección de Prevención del Delito de este municipio ha realizado 951 “Operativos Mochila Segura” en escuelas públicas, en los que se pone especial atención para detectar posibles casos de la moda “cutting”, adoptada por jóvenes y que consiste en hacerse cicatrices en brazos y manos.
El director de Seguridad Pública y Tránsito, Alberto Luis Ugalde Fernández, señaló que debido a que el “cutting” no es un juego y a que la adolescencia es una de las etapas más vulnerables, se tiene el objetivo de identificar a tiempo este fenómeno en estudiantes, sobre todo de nivel secundaria y preparatoria.
“La finalidad es detectar los primeros síntomas para que los jóvenes sean atendidos profesionalmente, pues podrían estar pasando depresión, bullying, estrés, soledad, aislamiento y ansiedad”.
Detalló que en lo que va del año, personal de Centinelas –encargado del dispositivo “Mochila Segura”-, observó 50 casos que podrían tener relación con esta influencia, de los cuales se dio aviso a las autoridades escolares y padres de familia para valorar la situación “porque igual podrían tratarse de rasguños accidentales o de mascota”.
Ugalde Fernández apuntó que en los primeros tres meses de gobierno municipal se han efectuado 951 operativos “Mochila Segura” en escuelas primarias, secundarias y preparatorias, de ambos turnos, encontrando un total de 7 mil 562 artículos prohibidos por el reglamento de cada plantel, entre los que se encuentran:
Cosméticos, plumones permanentes –con los que hacen graffitis-, medicamentos sin receta -para evitar la automedicación-, perfumes, desodorantes en aerosol, objetos punzantes, entre otros, entregados a las autoridades escolares.
Recordó que los operativos “Mochila Segura” se realizan en compañía del personal de Derechos Humanos, un binomio canino, padres de familia y autoridades escolares, y para identificar los posibles casos de “cutting” sólo se les pide a los alumnos remangarse la camisa o suéter.
Para hacer conciencia en el alumnado sobre la problemática y consecuencias del “cutting” también se brindan pláticas en el tema. Al momento se han impartido mil 270 pláticas en la materia, y relacionadas a la agresión escolar, los riesgos del uso de las redes sociales y violencia en el noviazgo.
