Las pantallas plegables, propias de los móviles de última generación, llegan ahora al mundo de la moda de la mano de Louis Vuitton que comercializará en 2020 un bolso conectado, señal de la vertiginosa influencia del mundo digital y de la imagen en el sector del lujo.
El viernes, el grupo LVMH y su marca principal Louis Vuitton, primera marca de moda en el mundo en términos de ventas por delante de Chanel y Gucci, presentaron dos prototipos de bolsos en Vivatech de París, salón dedicado a las nuevas tecnologías.
El primer modelo dispone de dos pantallas ligeramente curvas para adaptarse a la forma redonda del bolso, mientras que el segundo -más grande- tiene un total de cuatro pantallas adheridas a la famosa piel monograma de la marca.
La tecnología utilizada por Louis Vuitton fue desarrollada por Royole -una start-up china cuya sede social está en California- pionera junto a otros fabricante (en especial Samsung y Huawei) en el mercado de los teléfonos móviles con pantallas plegables.
Bernard Arnault, director de LVMH, confirmó que Louis Vuitton comercializará este bolso conectado. “Fue presentado [el 9 de mayo] en Nueva York durante el desfile ‘Crucero’, habrá que esperar un poco” para que esté en las tiendas, indicó en el stand del grupo en Vivatech.
El equipo de la prestigiosa marca, que desarrolló este proyecto de “internet del futuro”, habla de una comercialización “en el segundo semestre de 2020” del bolso conectado, por un precio que no fue precisado.
El propietario del accesorio podrá seleccionar y hacer desfilar a partir de su smartphone imágenes o videos en estas pantallas, que son igualmente táctiles.
“LVMH está muy conectado a estas nuevas tecnologías, al mundo digital. Y el lujo, los productos de alta calidad, son universos muy interactivos con el mundo digital. Su futuro, su desarrollo, su crecimiento, están vinculados a esto”, resumió Arnault.
En términos de uso, se trata más bien de una pantalla, difusión de imágenes o de vídeos, más que una forma de consulta de emails o de redes sociales desde las pantallas del bolso.
La empresa Royole comercializa su smartphone plegable FlexiPai -que se puede transformar en tablet- por 1.300 euros en su web, donde vende otros productos con “visualización flexible” como camisetas o sombreros, para “una nueva forma única de expresarse visualmente”.
