Autoridades locales del municipio de Uruapan, Michoacán, detuvieron a René Belmonte Aguilar, alias “El Rino“, señalado como líder de una facción delictiva del Cártel Jalisco Nueva Generación (CJNG).
El alcalde Carlos Manzo confirmó el arresto mediante un video difundido en redes sociales, donde alertó a la ciudadanía sobre posibles represalias y declaró código rojo en la zona.
Alerta por posible retaliación delictiva
Tras la captura, Manzo pidió a la población evitar salir de sus domicilios.
“En estos momentos nos están reportando que se está movilizando gente armada para entrar al municipio de Uruapan, por lo cual les pedimos que si no tienen nada qué hacer en este momento en la calle, tomen sus precauciones y se resguarden hasta que existan las condiciones de seguridad para poder levantar este código rojo”, indicó.
El edil solicitó apoyo inmediato al secretario de Seguridad y Protección Ciudadana, Omar García Harfuch, así como a la Guardia Nacional y al Ejército Mexicano.
Incautación de evidencias y postura oficial
Al presunto líder delictivo se le decomisaron un arma de fuego, drogas sintéticas, dinero en efectivo y un dron.
Manzo enfatizó que el operativo se realizó en coordinación con todos los niveles de gobierno y reafirmó su compromiso con la seguridad:
“Aquí vamos a actuar para defender al pueblo de Uruapan, no vamos a permitir que ningún grupo delictivo, del grupo que sean, como se llamen, venga a lesionar la paz social (…) No tenemos consigna de manera directa con ningún grupo delictivo ni trabajamos con ningún grupo delictivo”, puntualizó.
Urupuan en medio del conflicto entre grupos criminales
Uruapan, la segunda ciudad más importante económicamente en Michoacán, es escenario de disputas entre grupos como el CJNG, Los Caballeros Templarios, Los Viagras, Blancos de Troya y Pueblos Unidos.
Estas organizaciones criminales compiten por el control de la producción de metanfetaminas, extorsiones a empresarios, productores de aguacate, comerciantes y transportistas.
La detención de “El Rino” representa un golpe a una de las facciones del CJNG, pero también evidencia la complejidad del panorama de seguridad en la región, donde la violencia persiste como resultado de la lucha por territorios y mercados ilícitos.
