Agentes de la Procuraduría General de Justicia del Estado de México (PGJEM), junto con elementos de la Secretaría de Marina (SEMAR) y la Comisión Estatal de Seguridad Ciudadana (CES), realizaron cateos en cuatro inmuebles de Nezahualcóyotl, en donde fueron localizados estupefacientes, más de 100 cartuchos útiles de diversos calibres, un arma de fuego, una motoneta y autopartes con reporte de robo.
Luego de denuncias ciudadanas en las que se mencionó que en varios domicilios de la colonia Evolución, presuntamente se realizaban actividades relacionadas con la venta y distribución de droga, Agentes de Investigación realizaron diversas investigaciones y con los datos obtenidos, el Ministerio Público solicitó a un juez librar órdenes de cateo para cuatro domicilios ubicados en este lugar.
Una vez que la Autoridad Judicial otorgó las órdenes de cateo, se realizaron operativos simultáneos en los cuatro domicilios.En el primero de ellos, los servidores públicos estatales y federales, localizaron los siguientes artículos: 10 cartuchos útiles calibre .38 mm.,55 cartuchos útiles calibre 9 mm.,6 cartuchos útiles calibre .380 mm., 56 cartuchos útiles calibre .22 mm., 13 cartuchos útiles calibre 25 mm, un arma de fuego calibre 9 mm, así como réplica de arma de fuego calibre .22, 3 cargadores para arma de fuego, un radio comunicador,4 teléfonos celulares y 15 bolsas con hierba verde con las características de la marihuana.
En el lugar fueron detenidos Jorge Edu Torres Martínez, Fernando Daniel Torres Martínez y José Antonio Torres Martínez.En el segundo inmueble, se encontró un motor de motocicleta y una motoneta, ambos con reporte de robo vigente. Mientras que, en tercer inmueble los servidores públicos, localizaron 14 bolsas con hierba verde con las características de la marihuana. Y en otro domicilio, no fueron encontrados objetos o drogas; tres viviendas fueron aseguradas por la PGJEM y los detenidos fueron presentados ante el agente del Ministerio Público, quien determinará su situación legal.
