Luego que la Secretaría de Movilidad suspendió a los municipios la facultad de expedir licencias de automovilistas desde enero del 2016, varios ayuntamientos del valle de México comenzaron ya a tramitar este permiso de conducir, pues las unidades móviles del gobierno estatal tardaban hasta 8 horas para renovar el documento.
La alcaldesa de Atizapán de Zaragoza, Ana Balderas Trejo, informó que efectivamente por instrucciones del gobernador, Eruviel Ávila, los municipios volverán a hacerse cargo de dar este servicio a los habitantes de sus localidades.
Informó que aproximadamente en 15 días más, se firmará el convenio con el Gobierno del Estado de México, para volver hacerse cargo de la expedición de licencias de manejar e indicó que le hizo la propuesta al gobernador de que fuera personal del estado quien se encargara de llevar a cabo este trabajo, bajo la responsabilidad de que el gobierno municipal pagaría los salarios.
El pasado 31 de diciembre venció el convenio firmado con 8 municipios del valle de México para que en sus oficinas de tránsito municipal se expidieran las licencias de conducir, a partir de esta fecha, el secretario de Movilidad, Isidro Pastor Medrano, anunció en Tlalnepantla que sería el gobierno estatal quien retomaría la entrega de licencias de conducir, debido a que se encontró corrupción en los ayuntamientos.
Aunque el secretario de Movilidad afirmó que sólo eran 20 minutos los que se tardaban los módulos estatales en expedir la documentación, decenas de automovilistas señalaron que eran más de 8 horas lo que invertían para obtener su licencia.
Reiteró que por el momento no hay infracciones en el municipio e informó que las agentes de tránsito tienen prohibido detener los automóviles, hasta que se cuente con las terminales, mientras las 22 mujeres en estos momentos sólo invitan a los ciudadanos a cumplir con el programa Hoy no Circula.(L)
