Destacó que el espíritu reformista de un gobierno con visión como el de Adolfo López Mateos, es similar al del actual presidente, Enrique Peña, ya que emprendieron una lucha en favor del futuro de la Nación.
José Manzur insistió que el destino de los mexiquenses es dirigido por un hombre que ha sido capaz de comprender la visión de Adolfo López Mateos con entrega a la ciudadanía del Estado de México, el gobernador Eruviel Ávila. Por ello, montó guardia solemne de honor al pie del Mausoleo erigido en memoria del ex presidente de México.
