En un operativo federal coordinado por diversas dependencias de seguridad, fueron detenidos 11 presuntos miembros del Cártel de Sinaloa, vinculados a la facción de “Los Mayos”, en el municipio de Navolato, Sinaloa.
La operación fue una respuesta a un ataque armado contra policías estatales en el poblado de Las Aguamitas, que provocó una rápida intervención por parte de fuerzas federales.
Acciones de seguridad tras el ataque armado en Navolato
El ataque contra los oficiales estatales desató un despliegue inmediato de personal de la Secretaría de la Defensa Nacional (Sedena), la Marina (Semar), la Guardia Nacional y la Fiscalía General de la República (FGR), quienes intervinieron tanto por tierra como por aire.
Durante el enfrentamiento, los detenidos intentaron huir en cuatro vehículos de reciente modelo, pero fueron interceptados y arrestados.
Los presuntos delincuentes, identificados como Juan Manuel Pérez Gil, Juan Francisco Plata Pérez, Erik Rentería Félix, José María González Yáñez, Alán Abel Bernal González, Víctor Hugo Rocha Pacheco, Andy Erubiel Medina López, Elián de Jesús Martínez Suarez, Sergio Ramón García Oliva, José Carlos Aguirre Hernández y José Luis Ozuna Saboria, fueron capturados sin presentar resistencia.
A los detenidos se les decomisó un arsenal compuesto por un fusil Barrett, una ametralladora, 14 armas largas, tres armas cortas, 61 cargadores, dos aditamentos para granada, 13 chalecos tácticos y más de 2,400 cartuchos de diversos calibres. Además, fueron asegurados cuatro vehículos, entre ellos una camioneta Suburban, un Chevrolet y una pick up RAM, los cuales estaban adaptados para el transporte de armas y equipo táctico.
Investigación y proceso legal
Los detenidos fueron puestos a disposición del Ministerio Público Federal, quien definirá su situación legal conforme a la ley.
Por su parte las autoridades señalaron que los detenidos pertenecían a la facción de “Los Mayos” del Cártel de Sinaloa, liderado por Ismael “El Mayo” Zambada. Los operativos continúan para recuperar el control de la región y debilitar la presencia de grupos criminales en Sinaloa.
Este operativo es parte de los esfuerzos del Gabinete de Seguridad para reducir la violencia y las actividades del crimen organizado en el estado.
