Un operativo conjunto de fuerzas federales y locales culminó con la captura de un hombre, presunto integrante de un grupo delictivo con operaciones en la zona oriente del Valle de México.
La detención se efectuó en el municipio de Tultitlán, Estado de México, donde al sospechoso se le aseguraron armas, drogas y cartuchos útiles. También se le vincula con un secuestro ocurrido en agosto de 2024 y un ataque con armas de fuego registrado en diciembre de 2023.
La operación fue resultado de trabajos de inteligencia realizados por la Secretaría de Seguridad y Protección Ciudadana (SSPC), en coordinación con la Secretaría de Marina (Semar), la Secretaría de la Defensa Nacional (Sedena), la Guardia Nacional (GN), la Fiscalía General de la República (FGR), la Secretaría de Seguridad Ciudadana (SSC) y la Fiscalía General de Justicia (FGJCDMX) de la Ciudad de México, así como la Fiscalía del Estado de México (FGJEM).
Como parte de las labores de vigilancia, los agentes identificaron la zona de movilidad del sujeto en calles de la colonia Fuentes del Valle. En el cruce de la avenida de las Torres y calle San Antonio, observaron que el hombre descendía de una camioneta dorada y manipulaba lo que parecía un arma de fuego. Ante esta situación, los elementos procedieron a realizar una revisión preventiva.
Durante la inspección, al individuo de 36 años se le aseguraron tres teléfonos celulares, un arma de fuego corta, cuatro cargadores de diferentes calibres, 30 cartuchos útiles, una bolsa con posible cristal, un paquete envuelto en cinta adhesiva y 100 dosis de una sustancia con características similares a la cocaína.
La persona detenida fue puesta a disposición del Ministerio Público, donde se definirá su situación jurídica. De acuerdo con las autoridades, tras un cruce de información, se identificó que el sujeto está posiblemente relacionado con el secuestro de una mujer y su hijo en agosto de 2024, así como con una agresión armada ocurrida en un deportivo de la alcaldía Tláhuac, en diciembre de 2023, que dejó dos personas muertas y siete heridas.
El Gabinete de Seguridad Federal reiteró que estas acciones se realizan dentro del marco de la Estrategia Nacional de Seguridad y con la finalidad de ubicar y detener a generadores de violencia, así como retirar de circulación armas y estupefacientes.
