Al inaugurar la Segunda Semana Nacional de Salud Bucal en Atizapán, la presidenta del Sistema Municipal DIF, María del Carmen Soto Escalante, recordó que esta dependencia ofrece acciones preventivas que evitar que niños presenten enfermedades que mitiguen su calidad de vida.
Ante alumnos de la Escuela Primaria “José Clemente Orozco”, de la colonia Las Alamedas, la titular del DIF Atizapán señaló que es fundamentak tener una buena salud bucal a todas las edades, pero sobre todo en la infancia.
“Para cumplir este objetivo el DIF toma las medidas necesarias reforzando entre los alumnos y ciudadanos en general técnicas de cepillado, uso correcto de hilo dental, aplicación flour, entre otras actividades relacionadas con el tema”, dijo.
En este evento, en el que estuvo presente la alcaldesa, Ana Balderas, pasantes de las carreras de odontología de la FES Ixtacala, presentaron una obra de teatro guiñol, por medio de la cual recordaron a los menores, por qué es importante lavar los dientes de manera parmente y como las caries atacan a las piezas dentales.
Los distintos subsistemas como los de “Cerro Grande”, “San José del Jaral”, “Casa de la Juventud”, “Lomas de San Lorenzo, “Mexico 86”, “Prados Iztacala” , “San Miguel Xochimanga” entre otros, también se cuenta con unidades móviles que recorren diversas comunidades, además de visitar escuelas, quienes solicitan con antelación el servicio.
