Durante labores de seguridad y vigilancia por calles de la colonia, Profesor Cristóbal Higuera, policías uniformados de la Dirección de Seguridad Pública y Tránsito Municipal, lograron la detención de dos personas en los momentos en que intercambiaban dinero por envoltorios de plástico transparente. Al ser detenidos, se les encontraron 12 cápsulas, las que contenían una sustancia solida amarillenta con las características propias de la cocaína en piedra.
Los policías municipales del sector VI quienes realizaban la aplicación del operativo “Rastrillo”, en las calles de Durazno y Maguey de esa colonia, procedieron a la revisión de Jesús “N” de 28 años de edad al que le aseguran el envoltorio con cápsulas, en tanto que su acompañante Gerardo “N” de 22 años, tras mostrar sus pertenencias se le detectó una bolsa de plástico con la cantidad de mil 200 pesos en efectivo en su interior.
Al percatarse de la presencia de los elementos de la policía de este municipio, los dos hombres adoptaron una actitud nerviosa y evasiva al caminar de forma apresurada en dirección hacia la calle de Maguey; sin embargo, se procedió a darles alcance, para realizarles una revisión con estricto respeto a sus derechos humanos.
En esos momentos, los policías uniformados de la Dirección de Seguridad Pública y Tránsito Municipal, encontraron entre sus pertenencias el dinero y la sustancia prohibida.
Por la posesión de las cápsulas y el dinero los dos implicados, fueron trasladados y puestos a disposición del Agente del Ministerio Publico de la Procuraduría General de Justicia del Estado de México, donde se procedió a establecer los hechos en una Carpeta de Investigación, al estar en presencia de un posible hecho delictivo de daños contra la salud en su modalidad de comercialización.
