Bernabé, un enfermero que permaneció en terapia intensiva en el hospital Salvador González Herrejón, donde 35 empleados de la Secretaría de Salud (Ssa) resultaron positivos a Covid-19, fu dado de alta.
Berna, como lo conocen sus compañeros, es el primer caso de un enfermo que, estando en terapia intensiva, sale dado de alta de este hospital, luego del brote de contagio que afectó a 35 médicos y enfermeras en ese hospital.
Por este brote falleció el enfermero Heriberto, quien fue despedido con aplausos por sus compañeros del hospital el pasado 14 de abril, y el médico Ricardo Ríos, el cual murió el pasado 20 de abril.
De 35 trabajadores de la salud que resultaron contagiados por coronavirus en este hospital del Instituto de Salud del Estado de México (ISEM), aún hay 22 en aislamiento y ocho ya se reincorporaron a sus labores, informó Joel Sabas Rodríguez, director del hospital.
Detalló que todo el personal de salud en incapacidad, tras resultar positivo de Covid-19, recibirá su salario completo, junto con otras compensaciones.
Hasta ayer, había cinco pacientes con ventilador, ocho sin ventilador y seis sospechosos, agregó.
El brote de contagios por Covid-19 se dio entre los hospitales 72 del IMSS, de Tlalnepantla, y el Salvador González Herrejón, de Atizapán, que afectó a más de 50 médicos y enfermeras, entre marzo y abril.
Estas incapacidades y decesos generaron diversas plazas vacantes, reconoció el director del hospital de Atizapán, por lo que se abrió la contratación de médicos internistas, generales y enfermeras.
