La Entidad Mexicana de Acreditación (ema) fue distinguida en dos categorías durante la quinta edición del galardón Empresas Excepcionales 2025, otorgado por el Consejo Coordinador Empresarial (CCE), el Consejo de la Comunicación y el Instituto para el Fomento a la Calidad (IFC).
El reconocimiento identifica a organizaciones que integran la dimensión social como parte de su estrategia y que generan valor para su entorno. En este marco, la ema fue premiada por su práctica “Experiencia ema”, orientada a mejorar la relación con los clientes mediante procesos más eficientes, automatización, digitalización y aprovechamiento de capacidades clave. La iniciativa busca elevar de manera continua la calidad del servicio y está alineada al modelo de negocio del organismo.
La segunda distinción correspondió a la práctica “Ecosistema ema”, enfocada en generar valor compartido a través de la colaboración con aliados, instituciones y sectores estratégicos. Según la entidad, este enfoque fomenta la corresponsabilidad social y establece relaciones “ganar-ganar” dentro del ecosistema de acreditación.
El propósito de estas iniciativas es fortalecer la responsabilidad social, consolidar vínculos con las partes interesadas y asegurar servicios confiables, alineados con las expectativas de los sectores productivos y regulados, señaló la ema.
Con 26 años de trayectoria, la Entidad Mexicana de Acreditación se encarga de acreditar laboratorios, unidades de inspección y organismos de certificación, garantizando el cumplimiento de normas que protegen la salud, la seguridad del consumidor y el cuidado ambiental. Hasta la fecha, acumula más de 8,500 acreditaciones y tiene presencia en 17 países.
El reconocimiento Empresas Excepcionales 2025 evaluó 88 prácticas de dimensión social presentadas por 50 empresas e instituciones. De estas, el 70% correspondió a empresas grandes, 13% a medianas y 17% a pequeñas, con sectores que abarcan servicios (63%) e industria (37%). La convocatoria incluyó ocho categorías: bienestar de los colaboradores; transformación digital y tecnológica; ecosistema de valor compartido; cultura con propósito; contribución a los Objetivos de Desarrollo Sostenible; personalización y experiencia del cliente; diversidad, equidad e inclusión; e innovación.
Durante la ceremonia estuvieron presentes Manola Zabalza, secretaria de Desarrollo Económico de la Ciudad de México; Emmanuel Reyes Carmona, presidente de la Comisión de Economía del Senado; René Freudenberg, presidente del Instituto para el Fomento de la Calidad; Salvador Villalobos, presidente ejecutivo del Consejo de la Comunicación; y Erika Quevedo, directora general del Consejo de Empresas Globales, entre otros.
Con este doble reconocimiento, la ema consolida su compromiso con la calidad, la innovación social y el fortalecimiento de un ecosistema de acreditación que impulsa la competitividad y la confianza en México.
