El Servicio Meteorológico Nacional (SMN) informó que el frente frío 42 se desplazará sobre el litoral de Tamaulipas y Veracruz este viernes 9 de mayo, interactuando con un canal de baja presión que se extiende sobre el sureste mexicano y la península de Yucatán.
Este sistema generará lluvias puntuales torrenciales en Veracruz y Oaxaca, así como precipitaciones intensas en Hidalgo, Puebla, Chiapas y Tabasco.
Pronóstico de Lluvias y Zonas Afectadas
Las condiciones meteorológicas ocasionarán chubascos y lluvias fuertes a muy fuertes acompañadas de descargas eléctricas y posibles granizadas en estados del noreste, oriente, centro, sur y sureste del territorio nacional, incluyendo la península de Yucatán y el Valle de México.
Se esperan acumulados de lluvia torrenciales de 150 a 250 milímetros en Veracruz y Oaxaca, mientras que en Hidalgo, Puebla, Chiapas y Tabasco los acumulados oscilarán entre 75 y 150 milímetros.
Otras regiones como Nuevo León, Tamaulipas, San Luis Potosí, Querétaro y Tlaxcala registrarán lluvias fuertes con puntuales muy fuertes de 50 a 75 milímetros.
Efectos Adicionales del Sistema Frontal
La masa de aire frío asociada al frente originará un descenso notable de temperaturas sobre el norte, noreste, oriente, centro y sureste del país.
Además, se prevé un evento de “Norte” con rachas de viento de 60 a 80 kilómetros por hora en el litoral de Tamaulipas y Veracruz, condición que se extenderá hacia la costa de Tabasco, istmo y golfo de Tehuantepec durante la madrugada del sábado.
En contraste, una circulación anticiclónica en niveles medios de la atmósfera mantendrá ambiente caluroso a muy caluroso en estados del noroeste, occidente y sur del país, con temperaturas máximas que oscilarán entre 40 y 45 grados Celsius en zonas de Baja California, Sonora, Chihuahua, Sinaloa, Nayarit, Jalisco, Michoacán, Guerrero, Morelos, Puebla, Tabasco, Chiapas, Campeche y Yucatán.
