El pasado 12 de abril, en un inmueble de la colonia Demetrio Vallejo, en este municipio, una pareja se encontraban discutiendo, sin embargo cuando su hijo comenzó a llorar, lo golpearon, hasta ocasionarle la muerte.
Por lo que el Juez con sede en Tlalnepantla determinó iniciar un proceso legal en contra de Imelda “N” y Daniel “N”, luego de que el Agente del Ministerio Púbico de la Fiscalía General de Justicia del Estado de México (FGJEM) acreditó su probable participación en el homicidio de su hijo de 1 año y 11 mes de edad.
Una vez que esta Institución tuvo conocimiento de los hechos, fue iniciada una investigación que permitió la detención de ambas personas, mismas que fueron presentadas ante el Agente del Ministerio Público.
Tras ser detenidos, ambos fueron ingresados al Centro Penitenciario y de Reinserción Social de Tlalnepantla, en donde quedaron a disposición de un Juez, autoridad que los vinculó a proceso, con un plazo de dos meses para el cierre de investigación y una medida cautelar de prisión preventiva, sin embargo se les debe considerar inocentes hasta que sea dictada una sentencia condenatoria en su contra.
