Ante las “injustas” redadas del Servicio de Inmigración y Control de Aduanas (ICE, por sus siglas en inglés) de Estados Unidos —que han afectado a las personas migrantes mexicanas— no faltarán recursos para los consulados de México en aquel país, aseveró la presidenta, Claudia Sheinbaum Pardo.
“No les va a faltar recurso, lo que se requiera, sale el presupuesto y si se requiere más recurso para la contratación de abogados o agencias que apoyen a los connacionales, no van a faltar recursos”, señaló en la mañanera de este lunes.
En una reciente redada, en una planta automotriz en Georgina, señaló, se reportaron 23 mexicanos detenidos, de ellos, 13 pidieron el apoyo consultar y el resto no. Y agregó que aún están detenidos 19 connacionales más en Florida, en el centro conocido como Alcatraz de los Caimanes.
Indicó que todos los connacionales que están siendo detenidos en Estados Unidos por el ICE, incluso quienes tienen permisos para estar de manera regular en esa nación, tienen derecho a solicitar el apoyo consular, aunque, dijo, no todos lo hacen o no tienen conocimiento.
“Cuando hay una redada, el consulado tiene instrucciones de, al tener conocimiento, solicitar información a ICE, quien está haciendo estas injustas redas, de inmediato se ponen contacto con ellos para que haya información, desde aquí se solicita información a embajada, y se va a los centros de detención para tener contacto con los migrantes”.
La jefa del Ejecutivo señaló que hay una línea de apoyo vía telefónica que funciona los 365 días del año las 24 horas del día, además de un portal al que los paisanos pueden acudir.
“No va a faltar recurso para los consulados, así hemos estado haciendo ahora, si requieren más presupuesto, se envía más presupuesto a los consulados. No va a faltar para apoyar a los hermanos migrantes”, aseveró.

I do like the way you have presented this problem and it really does give us some fodder for thought. On the other hand, through everything that I have seen, I only trust when other commentary stack on that people stay on issue and don’t start on a tirade associated with some other news of the day.
