La jefa de Gobierno de Ciudad de México, Claudia Sheinbaum, aclaró que su hija Mariana Imaz Sheinbaum, tiene una beca del Consejo Nacional de Ciencia y Tecnología (Conacyt), en el gobierno de Enrique Peña Nieto “cuando las espiaban con Pegasus”, por lo que dijo que no hay ningún influyentismo.
En conferencia de prensa, Sheinbaum Pardo declaró: “Condeno que cualquier persona que sea pública se utilice esto con las familias…es una mujer que pudo acceder al doctorado y tiene una beca del Conacyt desde 2016, ahí cuando me espiaba Peña Nieto (Enrique) con Pegasus, más o menos por esa época”.
Además, expresó que se siente miuy otgullosa de su hija, porque fue de una de las mujeres “como otras” que pudo acceder a un doctorado en el Conacyt, por lo que reiteró que trabaja desde la administración capitalina para apoyar a niños y jóvenes para que continñuen con sus estudios.
“Me siento muy orgullosa de ella, es una mujer que sacó su doctorado igual que muchas mujeres y que salió adelante por méritos propios y eso es fundamental. Y por otro lado, decir también que, como lo he dicho en otras ocasiones, si apoyamos la educación pública y damos becas a los estudiantes, ahora desde preescolar hasta secundaria, es precisamente por eso, porque si yo tuve la oportunidad de tener una beca o mi hija tuvo la oportunidad de tener una beca o muchos jóvenes tienen la oportunidad de tener una beca para poder estudiar, nosotros lo que queremos es devolverle al pueblo de México lo que nos dio, porque finalmente son recursos públicos”, detalló.
