El Agente del Ministerio Público de la Fiscalía General de Justicia del Estado de México (FGJEM), acreditó la participación de Hugo Santiago Pérez, en el delito de homicidio calificado en agravio de una mujer, ilícito por el que un Juez del Distrito Judicial de Tlalnepantla lo condenó a 40 años de prisión.
Con los elementos de prueba recabados y aportados por el Ministerio Público, la Autoridad Judicial dictó esta condena en contra de Santiago Pérez, sujeto que en agosto de 2016 asesinó a una mujer.
Las investigaciones realizadas por personal de la FGJEM, permitieron establecer que el día de los hechos la víctima se encontraba en un negocio de venta de bebidas alcohólicas ubicado en la Central de Abasto, en el municipio de Atizapán de Zaragoza, sitio en el cual también se encontraba el ahora sentenciado, quien en un momento determinado la hirió con un instrumento punzocortante.
Posteriormente este sujeto se dio a la fuga, en tanto la víctima fue trasladada a un hospital de la zona, en donde recibió atención médica, sin embargo falleció a consecuencia de las heridas que presentaba.
Derivado de este ilícito fue iniciada la carpeta de investigación respectiva y Agentes de Investigación llevaron a cabo diversas diligencias que permitieron identificar y detener al probable homicida, mismo que fue ingresado al Centro Penitenciario y de Reinserción Social de Tlalnepantla, en donde quedó a disposición de un Juez, quien previo proceso legal, le dictó una sentencia condenatoria.
Además de la pena privativa de libertad, el sentenciado deberá pagar una multa de 51 mil 128 pesos, y 159 mil 957 pesos como reparación del daño, aunado a que sus derechos civiles y políticos quedaron suspendidos.
