El ahora sentenciado y dos individuos más privaron de la libertad a un hombre para despojarlo de un vehículo que conducía, donde era transportado un cargamento de botellas con bebidas alcohólicas, mercancía valuada en más de 2 millones de pesos.
La Fiscalía General de Justicia del Estado de México (FGJEM) obtuvo sentencia de condena de 60 años de prisión para Eduardo Vargas Rodríguez, tras acreditar su intervención en el hecho delictivo de secuestro exprés con fines de robo, ilícito cometido en este municipio.
De acuerdo con la indagatoria, el 6 de junio del año 2023, la victima conducía un tráiler de la marca Kenworth, remolcando una plataforma, marca Margo, donde era transportada mercancía consistente en botellas de vino, con un valor de 2 millones 764 mil 800 pesos. En su trayecto le cerraron el paso los tripulantes de una camioneta de color negro.
De dicha camioneta descendió Eduardo Vargas Rodríguez y dos individuos más, quienes amagaron con un arma de fuego a la víctima y por la fuerza la bajaron de la unidad automotora que conducía, la privaron de la libertad y despojaron del vehículo y mercancía.
Momentos después mediante una movilización, elementos de la Secretaría de Seguridad del Estado de México (SSEM) realizan la detención del hoy sentenciado, además recuperan el vehículo y la mercancía robada.
El implicado fue presentado ante el Agente del Ministerio Público y luego quedó a disposición de la Autoridad Judicial, quien tras proceso legal, le dictó esta sentencia de condena, también le fijó multa de 518 mil 700 pesos y fueron suspendidos sus derechos civiles y políticos.
