Rodrigo Alejandro Ortiz García y Génesis Taxia Aldonsa Salazar Espinosa, quienes eran generadores de violencia en la región de Zumpango, fueron sentenciados a 43 años y 9 meses de prisión, una vez que la Fiscalía General de Justicia del Estado de México (FGJEM) acreditó su intervención en un homicidio registrado en este municipio.
Ambas personas fueron encontradas responsables de hechos registrados el 20 de agosto del año 2023, en la calle Fernando Domínguez Gámez, fraccionamiento Nuevos Paseos de San Juan, donde agredieron con un objeto punzocortante a un individuo, causándole la muerte y luego huyeron a bordo de una motocicleta.
Derivado de los hechos, fue iniciada la investigación respectiva por este homicidio calificado y fueron llevados a cabo actos de investigación de inteligencia, gabinete y campo que permitieron identificar a los posibles implicados, contra quienes el Ministerio Público solicitó librar orden de aprehensión en su contra.
De las indagatorias hechas por esta Institución, fue posible determinar que eran generadores de violencia en esta región de la entidad, relacionados con la comisión de delitos de alto impacto.
Rodrigo Alejandro Ortiz García y Génesis Taxia Aldonsa Salazar Espinosa, fueron aprehendidos en octubre de ese mismo año, en el estado de Nayarit, mediante acción conjunta en la que participaron elementos de la Secretaría de Seguridad y Protección Ciudadana federal (SSPC), así como agentes de la Fiscalía General de Justicia del Estado de México y de la Fiscalía General de esa entidad federativa.
Tras ser capturados quedaron a disposición del Órgano Jurisdiccional en el Centro Penitenciario y de Reinserción Social de Zumpango, quien luego de revisar los datos de prueba recabados, aportados y expuestos por el Ministerio Público y tras proceso legal, les dictó esta sentencia de condena.
Además de la pena privativa de libertad, deberán pagar multas de 128 mil 326 pesos y la cantidad de 227 mil 190 pesos como reparación del daño, en tanto que sus derechos civiles y políticos quedaron suspendidos.
