Más de 37 mil personas viven sobre minas en #Atizapán de Zaragoza

Más de 37 mil habitantes viven sobre 34 zonas minadas en este municipio, que representan la cuarta parte del territorio. Actualmente el gobierno local trabaja en la estabilización de 21 viviendas en Lomas de Guadalupe, donde familias vivían en riesgo de sufrir derrumbes.
En todo el territorio municipal se tienen identificadas 34 zonas minadas en las que se ven afectadas de manera directa e indirecta 10 mil 281 viviendas y 37 mil 031 habitantes, indicó Javier Torres Correa, Jefe del Departamento de Atlas y Gestión Integral de Riesgos de Atizapán de Zaragoza.
En Lomas de Guadalupe, una de estas zonas de riesgo autoridades locales han estabilizado un tramo de mina que afectaba a 21 viviendas con 137 habitantes, inyectando mezcla puzolánica en 880 metros cúbicos y a la fecha se sigue trabajando en la estabilización de otro tramo de mina, indicaron autoridades municipales.
El gobierno de Atizapán de Zaragoza, a través de la Coordinación de Protección Civil, Bomberos y Medio Ambiente, ha puesto a salvo 21 viviendas construidas sobre terreno minado, evitando que éstas colapsen.
Torres Correa, Jefe del Departamento de Atlas y Gestión Integral de Riesgos, indicó que diariamente inyectan, en promedio, 20,000 litros de hidróxido de calcio mezclado con mineral de perlita para rellenar las cavidades.
Para estas 21 casas ocuparon aproximadamente un millón y medio de litros del material.
“Para el tema de las minas, que es uno de los riesgos a los que Atizapán está expuesto, lo que hacemos es, a través de estudios geofísicos, determinar las rutas, trayectorias y la existencia de cavidades y sus condiciones, cómo están constituidas, cómo están interactuando con el entorno”, aseguró Torres Correa.
Admitió que “el trabajo del día a día nos da muy poquito avance, pero tenemos que seguir haciéndolo hasta lograr rellenar y estabilizar una casa”.
El riesgo de los derrumbes crece cuando los habitantes de las viviendas descargan sus drenajes hacia el terreno donde está la mina; entonces, el líquido penetra y podría provocar el reblandecimiento del terreno.
“Cuando encontramos casas habitación encima, lo que hacemos es perforar y empezar el relleno de estabilización. Dependiendo de qué tan profunda sea, la inclinación, el tipo de materiales, vamos viendo si vertemos la mezcla más líquida o más espesa”, añadió.
Sobreexplotación del suelo para llevar material de construcción a la CDMX

Las minas más importantes se localizan en el Cerro de San Martín, en las colonias Lomas de Guadalupe, San Martín de Porres, Las Flores y Bosques de San Martín.
Otras zonas donde ya se atiende esta problemática son ExHacienda El Pedregal, donde ya hubo un derrumbe en años anteriores, además de Tierra de En Medio y en La Higuera.
“La profundidad va variando, hay hasta 30 metros desde el piso de la calle a la mina y la altura que tiene al interior depende de los caídos -derrumbes- que ya tiene. La original debió haber tenido entre 6 y 7 metros de altura. Ahora está en 3 o 4 metros”, explicó Torres Correa.
Las minas detectadas en el territorio municipal son de tepojal, un material de la familia del tepetate que es idóneo para fabricar block cuando es mezclado con concreto.
De los años 40 a los 60, se presentó una sobreexplotación del suelo para llevar material de construcción a la Ciudad de México. Para la década de los 70 se estableció un decreto del Gobierno del Estado con el que quedó prohibida la realización de esas labores.
Para la mezcla de relleno, los materiales son donados por el sector privado. Con apoyo del Gobierno del Estado, Protección Civil municipal certifica el material, el cual es amigable con el ambiente, no afecta el agua, no contamina y no genera un problema ambiental posterior, afirmó el funcionario local.
