Un conductor de tráiler fue asesinado por disparos de arma de fuego durante las primeras horas de este jueves en la autopista Chamapa-Lechería, a la altura del kilómetro 19, en el municipio de Naucalpan. El ataque ocurrió alrededor de las 2:30 de la madrugada en lo que las autoridades señalan como un intento de asalto.
Tras el ataque, los agresores se dieron a la fuga. Paramédicos de Caminos y Puentes Federales (Capufe) acudieron al lugar en Naucalpan para brindar atención médica al conductor, sin embargo, éste ya no presentaba signos vitales.
La unidad de carga quedó atravesada sobre el carril en dirección a La Venta, lo que provocó la interrupción del tránsito vehicular en esa zona durante al menos cinco horas. Para facilitar la circulación, se habilitó un carril en contraflujo, mientras elementos de la Guardia Nacional resguardaban el sitio.
En espera del arribo de personal de la Fiscalía General de Justicia del Estado de México, el área se mantuvo bajo vigilancia para iniciar las diligencias periciales correspondientes y abrir la carpeta de investigación.
Este hecho ocurre en un contexto de acciones operativas recientes en el Estado de México, implementadas como parte de la Estrategia Operativa Oriente, impulsada por la Secretaría de Seguridad estatal y diversas corporaciones federales y municipales.
Más de ocho mil operativos en 11 municipios
Entre el 25 de marzo y el 6 de abril de 2025, las autoridades llevaron a cabo 8,104 operativos en 11 municipios considerados prioritarios por sus altos niveles de delincuencia, incluyendo Naucalpan, Ecatepec, Nezahualcóyotl y Chimalhuacán. Durante ese periodo, se reportó la detención de 1,161 personas vinculadas a diversos delitos, así como el aseguramiento de mercancía y bienes presuntamente relacionados con actividades ilícitas.
La Secretaría de Seguridad del Estado de México (SSEM) informó que en esos operativos se recuperó mercancía valuada en más de 13 millones de pesos, se confiscaron 109 armas de fuego, más de 200 cartuchos útiles y se incautaron 1,120 litros de hidrocarburo. También se aseguraron 541 vehículos, de los cuales 190 tenían reporte de robo y 60 eran unidades de carga.
Las acciones forman parte de la estrategia de seguridad instruida desde la Mesa de Coordinación para la Construcción de la Paz, encabezada por la gobernadora Delfina Gómez Álvarez, con el objetivo de atender las zonas más afectadas por la violencia y fortalecer el tejido social en el Estado de México.
La estrategia ha contado con la participación de la Secretaría de la Defensa Nacional (Sedena), la Secretaría de Marina (Semar), la Secretaría de Seguridad y Protección Ciudadana (SSPC), el Centro Nacional de Inteligencia (CNI), la Guardia Nacional (GN), la Fiscalía estatal y policías municipales.
La SSEM indicó que estas acciones continuarán implementándose en el corto y mediano plazo como parte de una política integral de seguridad pública para la entidad.
