Al conmemorar un aniversario más de los sismos de 1985, EL Director de Seguridad Publica y Transito Eduardo González Castillo, recordó con un minuto de silencio a las miles de personas que lamentablemente perdieron la vida hace 31 años el 19 de septiembre, asegurando que afortunadamente hoy la población se encuentra mejor preparada para enfrentar este tipo de acontecimientos.
Acompañado de trabajadores operativos y administrativos de esta dependencia, el Comisario de Policía, agradeció el apoyo de todos sus colaboradores, ya que al participar en este tipo de ejercicios de evacuación, se refuerza la conciencia y el compromiso para salvaguardar no solo los bienes y seguridad de los ciudadanos, sino la integridad física de las familias de Atizapán, estando mejor preparados para enfrentar situaciones de emergencia o desastres.
El Comisario Eduardo González, destaco la importancia de seguir fomentando la cultura de protección civil entre la población, como lo ha instruido la alcaldesa Ana María Balderas Trejo, indico que la policía cuenta con una brigada de elementos para actuar en consecuencia, donde el objetivo es seguir capacitando a más personal para tener una respuesta en el menor tiempo posible ante una situación de emergencia, teniendo los conocimientos básicos de prevención y seguridad.
Cabe destacar que los elementos policíacos en coordinación con Protección Civil y Bomberos de Atizapán, llevaron a cabo las actividades de desalojo de las oficinas municipales, tomando en cuenta la información que el Servicio Sismológico Nacional divulgo sobre un alerta hipotético de sismo con escalas similares al temblor de hace 31 años de 8.1 grados Richter. Este sismo hipotético ocurriría a 28 kilómetros al sur de Ayoyac de Álvarez, en el estado de Guerrero.
