En helicóptero del gobierno estatal fue trasladada una joven de 19 años de edad, cuyo embarazo se complicó, del hospital de San Pedro Limón, en Tlatlaya, al “Salvador González Herrejón”, en este municipio.
La Dirección de Protección Civil y Bomberos informó que Esmeralda Castrejón Martínez, de 19 años de edad, sufrió complicaciones en su salud en el hospital de dicha comunidad, que colinda con el estado de Guerrero, por lo que personal del Instituto de Salud del Estado de México (ISEM) aplicó el Código Mater y fue trasladada de emergencia al hospital de Atizapán.
Agregó que se trata del primer embarazo de la joven, por lo que médicos determinaron su traslado de emergencia para salvar su vida y la del bebé, por lo que el gobierno estatal apoyó con un helicóptero.
Mencionó que la aeronave aterrizó en la estación central de Bomberos de Atizapán, localizada en la colonia Lomas de Atizapán, y de ahí fue llevada en ambulancia al hospital “Salvador González Herrejón”, distante unos cinco kilómetros del lugar.
La dependencia afirmó que el estado de salud de la joven fue reportado como estable, además de que el rápido traslado otorga mayores posibilidades de que se recupere satisfactoriamente.
