Un total de cuatro automóviles que fueron robados a sus propietarios durante las últimas horas, fueron recuperados en calles de esta demarcación.
A través del Operativo Plan Integral Ecatepec y de la Unidad de Combate al Robo de Vehículos, elementos de la Dirección de Seguridad Pública y Tránsito, en coordinación con la Secretaría de Seguridad del Estado de México, recuperaron en Ecatepec cuatro vehículos que fueron robados en distintos hechos.
En un primer caso, por medio de las cámaras de video vigilancia del Centro de Mando (C-4) de la policía municipal fue detectada una camioneta Nissan NP300 color blanca con reporte de robo en calle Licenciado Ángel Otero de la colonia Ejidos de San Andrés, en Ecatepec, por lo que inmediatamente una unidad avanzó al lugar para verificar las placas y detectaron que el vehículo contaba con una predenuncia de robo con fecha del 6 de marzo del presente año.
En otro hecho, durante un recorrido sobre calle Araucaria de la colonia Prizo, policías municipales localizaron mal estacionado y en estado de abandono un vehículo de la marca Nissan tipo March, color plata, modelo 2013; al verificar las placas en Plataforma México encontraron que contaba con reporte de robo.
En la colonia San Agustín Primera Sección, elementos municipales detectaron un vehículo sospechoso de marca Seat, tipo Ibiza, color rojo, por lo que pidieron al Centro de Mando consultar las placas en sistema, las cuales contaban con una carpeta de investigación por robo.
Los automóviles fueron remitidos a la Oficina Coordinadora de Riesgos Asegurados (OCRA), para su puesta a disposición ante el agente del Ministerio Público en turno.
En un último suceso, un ciudadano pidió apoyo de la policía en la colonia Ejidos de San Andrés, ya que momentos fue despojado por dos sujetos de su vehículo, un Chevrolet Malibú color gris, modelo 2014, con placas del Estado de México.
La víctima señaló que dos individuos de complexión robusta, morenos y con sudadera gris utilizaron una arma de fuego para hacerlo descender de automóvil.
Inmediatamente los elementos de seguridad comienzan la búsqueda y aseguran el vehículo en la colonia Vista Hermosa. El dueño fue trasladado para el reconocimiento de su propiedad.
