Alejandra Toledo, alumna del músico Armando Vega Gil, quien se suicidó después de ser acusado de acoso sexual, exigió que se revelara la identidad de la denunciante que lo señaló.
“Si realmente están para hacer las cosas bien ayúdenos a que la página (@MeeTooMúsicosMexicanos) revele su identidad. Él no era una persona violenta, es más era muy raro que se enojara. Era guerrillero pero en lo personal, todo amor”, expresó Toledo.
La petición fue realizada durante el funeral de Vega Gil, en el que Toledo también evadió algunas preguntas de la prensa, informó Excélsior.
“Realmente ahorita no tengo palabras para eso. Estoy enojada y no creo que sea el momento para hablar de eso”, dijo ante los cuestionamientos.
Toledo en todo momento sostuvo que el músico, de 64 años de edad, sólo daba amor, y anunció que continuarán con el proyecto 19SMéxico, “una fundación que formamos a partir del 19 de septiembre con el objetivo de ayudar”.
En este sentido detalló que se trata de un proyecto altruista desarrollado por varios músicos, entre ellos Luis Román, vocalista de Panteón Rococó.
Por su parte, Paola Hernández, representante de la banda Botellita de Jerez, de la que formaba parte Armando Vega Gil, anunció que ésta dejará de existir.
“En estos momentos ellos no tienen palabras, vamos a guardar unos días de silencio, después informaremos lo que pasará, lo que sí les informamos es que Botellita se acaba hoy y cada uno seguirá con sus proyectos personales. tal vez hagan cosas juntos, pero nunca más como Botellita de Jerez”, la manager de la agrupación.
Entre quienes asistieron al funeral de Vega Gil se encontraron Patricio Iglesias, de Santa Sabina; el periodista e investigador Pepe Návar, y el escritor mexicano Xavier Velasco.
