El salario mínimo en México “alcanza para medio comer una vez al día y definitivamente es un tema a tratar y a regularizar para que el mexicano, promedio, tenga una vida digna”, señaló el presidente de la Confederación Patronal de la República Mexicana (Coparmex) Metropolitano, Arturo Beteta del Río, quien informó que en el 2016 se registrarán de cuatro a cinco incrementos salariales paulatinos.
El salario mínimo debe ubicarse en alrededor de 160 pesos diarios, sin embargo, hay micros y pequeñas empresas que no pueden duplicar sus gastos en percepciones económicas para sus trabajadores, ya que eso generaría pérdida de fuentes de empleo, alertó.
En entrevista realizada, el líder patronal indicó que sí hay la capacidad económica de empresarios para otorgar de cuatro a cinco aumentos salariales en 2016 en la proporción que subió recientemente (4.2%).
“Es cuestión que nos apretemos el cinturón y eficientemos nuestros procesos de producción”, externó al indicar que “tenemos que ponernos los empresarios en los zapatos de nuestros trabajadores y darles una vida digna por el trabajo que hacen para nosotros”.
Y aunque el aumento salarial paulatino representará menos ganancias para el sector empresarial, es una responsabilidad social en la cual debe participar el sector patronal, señaló Arturo Beteta al externar que la estrategia de incrementos al salario mínimo durante el año “ayudará a los empresarios a planear la subida de los gastos”.(a)
