Paramédicos de Protección Civil municipal fueron capacitados para dar reanimación cardiopulmonar en adultos, niños y bebés, lo que les ayudará en su tarea de salvar vidas.
El pasado 20 de julio el paramédico voluntario de Atizapán, Fernando Callejas, salvó la vida de un bebé de nueve meses de edad, luego de que chocó la camioneta del transporte público en que viajaba el menor y le cayeron encima 19 pasajeros.
El bebé dejó de respirar y casualmente pasaba por el sitio Fernando Callejas, que sin dudarlo se acercó para brindar respiración boca a boca al niño, que de este modo salvó la vida.
Protección Civil y Bomberos de Atizapán informó que 24 paramédicos, entre ellos cuatro voluntarios, tomaron el curso denominado Basic Life Support (BLS, Apoyo de Vida Básico), impartido por instructores certificados por American Heart Association, máximo referente en trabajos cardiológicos a nivel mundial.
Los 24 paramédicos fueron adiestrados en reanimación cardiopulmonar, la cual se aplica cuando el paciente no respira y su corazón dejó de latir, con 80% de posibilidades de salvar la vida a las personas si se ejecuta correctamente.
La Dirección de Protección Civil, Ecología y Bomberos de Atizapán es una de las más importantes del valle de México y sus elementos son capacitados constantemente en diversas áreas.
Con este curso los elementos obtuvieron la certificación para dar reanimación cardiopulmonar a adultos, niños y bebés, así como el uso y manejo del Desfibrilador Externo Automático (DEA).
La capacitación fue impartida por la empresa Asesoría Prehospitalaria (ASEP), con razón social Capacitación, Servicios y Consultoría Trecar S. A. de C. V.
Los paramédicos de Atizapán están preparados para la salvaguarda de la vida de pacientes en estado crítico, con atención de primer nivel en cualquier emergencia.
