La Coordinación General de Protección Civil y Gestión Integral del Riesgo del Estado de México y la Coordinación Municipal de Protección Civil de Tlalnepantla, dieron a conocer que ingenieros especialistas continúan con los trabajos para estabilizar la zona afectada por desprendimienro de rocas en el Cerro del Chiquihuite, en la colonia Lázaro Cárdenas Segunda Sección.
Explicaron que este martes ya habrán sido colocadas 10 mil toneladas de material, logrando que todas las rocas que cayeron y representaban un riesgo, hayan sido estabilizadas y soportadas, lo que permitirá concluir la construcción de la plataforma para que la maquinaria pueda llegar a la ladera del cerro, donde se tiene identificada la falla, para que posteriormente se realice una ruptura controlada de la misma.
Asimismo, dijeron que, como parte de las labores, han sido demolidas cuatro viviendas: una de manera parcial y tres totalmente, para lo cual en días pasados se realizaron recorridos conjuntos para retirar los tanques de gas de los inmuebles a demoler y verificar que ya no hubiera personas en su interior.
Finalmente, agregaron que se mantienen los filtros de seguridad durante las 24 horas del día con personal de la Guardia Nacional, la Secretaría de la Defensa Nacional, así como elementos de la Secretaría de Seguridad del Estado de México y del municipio de Tlalnepantla, para garantizar la seguridad de la zona delimitada como de riesgo.
