Uber anunció esta mañana que, a partir de hoy, las tarifas correspondientes al servicio UberX serán 10 % más baratas.
Esto debido a que ahora el precio mínimo por viaje será de 35 pesos, en lugar de la tarifa anterior de 40.
Asimismo, también se ha implementado una reducción de precios para la modalidad UberXL.
Uber ha enfatizado que esta medida hará que haya más circulación de vehículos, con tiempos de espera menores y que garantizarán ganancias para los choferes.
El año pasado también se hizo una rebaja de precios y, de acuerdo al servicio de transporte, se incrementaron en un 21 % los viajes por hora. Por otro lado, las ganancias por hora también crecieron 12 %.
No obstante, se ha reportado en Twitter que varios choferes de Uber han convocado a una huelga de protesta. Según La Jornada, argumentan que la aplicación de transporte ha bajado las tarifas pero no las comisiones que deben pagar los choferes.
