La diputada Blanca Alcalá, vicepresidenta de la Cámara de Diputados y miembro del PRI, fue víctima de un secuestro exprés la noche de este martes 27 de agosto, en inmediaciones de la autopista México-Puebla, a la altura de Chalco.
Según el reporte de la Fiscalía estatal, un grupo armado interceptó a la legisladora y un colaborador alrededor de las 21:00 horas, después de que los atacantes poncharon las llantas de su vehículo.
Durante el secuestro, los delincuentes les quitaron sus pertenencias y tarjetas de crédito, que utilizaron para realizar retiros de efectivo.
Alcalá y su acompañante fueron retenidos en un lote baldío hasta cerca de las 4 de la mañana, cuando finalmente fueron liberados y pudieron continuar su camino hacia Puebla. Posteriormente, la diputada presentó una denuncia ante la Fiscalía del Estado.
La dirigencia nacional del PRI expresó su solidaridad con la diputada a través de su cuenta en X (anteriormente Twitter) y exigió a las autoridades reforzar la seguridad en la carretera México-Puebla, que consideran un “auténtico foco rojo”.
Blanca Alcalá informó que, aunque ella y su colaborador no resultaron heridos, el incidente les dejó un profundo sentimiento de temor. “Afortunadamente, nos encontramos bien y tenemos la posibilidad de disfrutar a nuestras familias y continuar nuestras vidas, ahora con preocupación y miedo, pero en adelante con el mismo entusiasmo”, expresó la legisladora.
La diputada lamentó que este tipo de delitos sean cada vez más comunes en las carreteras del país, afirmó que estos hechos la “tienen consternada y a la vez, llena de preocupación por ser un síntoma característico de la realidad a la que se enfrentan a diario miles de personas usuarias de la red de carreteras y autopistas de México”, comentó.
