El Gobierno federal puso en marcha el programa “Vivienda del Bienestar” durante este 2025, con el objetivo de atender el rezago habitacional y apoyar a familias de bajos recursos en el Estado de México, a través de subsidios directos de hasta 40 mil pesos.
La estrategia, encabezada por la Comisión Nacional de Vivienda (Conavi), contempla la entrega de apoyos económicos para mejorar, ampliar o reparar viviendas, así como para la adquisición de materiales de construcción o el pago de mano de obra. El monto se deposita directamente en tarjetas del Banco del Bienestar, sin intermediarios.
Los recursos están dirigidos a habitantes de municipios con alta concentración de población en condición de vulnerabilidad: Chalco, Chicoloapan, Chimalhuacán, Ecatepec, Ixtapaluca, La Paz, Texcoco, Tlalnepantla y Valle de Chalco.
Las prioridades del programa incluyen la instalación de servicios básicos, mejora estructural de las viviendas, y trabajos de rehabilitación en zonas marginadas. Según información oficial, los sectores focalizados como beneficiarios son mujeres jefas de familia, personas mayores, personas con discapacidad, integrantes de pueblos originarios y hogares ubicados en zonas de alta marginación.
Actualmente, no existe un mecanismo en línea para solicitar el apoyo. La incorporación se realiza mediante encuestas presenciales efectuadas por Servidores de la Nación, quienes visitan casa por casa en las localidades seleccionadas para identificar a los posibles beneficiarios.
El Gobierno federal indicó que esta medida forma parte de una política pública orientada a fortalecer la infraestructura social y mejorar las condiciones de vida en la periferia del Valle de México.
