A la fecha se tienen acumulados 6 millones 821 mil 746 casos
En las últimas 24 horas se registraron en México 18 mil 556 nuevos contagios de Covid-19, así como 122 fallecimientos a causa de la enfermedad.
Cifras del Informe Técnico Diario de la Secretaría de Salud sobre el estado de la pandemia precisan que a la fecha se tienen acumulados 6 millones 821 mil 746 casos y 328 mil 1280 defunciones.
De igual manera se tienen registrados 125 mil 884 casos activos, es decir, aquellos pacientes positivos que iniciaron con síntomas en los últimos 14 días.
De estos casos, las entidades que presentan el mayor número son: Ciudad de México, Baja California Sur, San Luis Potosí, Tlaxcala, Colima, Aguascalientes, Coahuila, Guanajuato, Querétaro y Sinaloa.
La detección de este tipo de casos permite conocer donde existe una mayor actividad viral y por tanto un aumento en la transmisión del virus.
La Secretaría de Salud también reiteró el llamado a mantener las medidas sanitarias como el uso de cubrebocas en espacios cerrados y el lavado constante de manos para evitar contagios.
