Un total de cuatro personas fallecidas y 30 lesionadas, fue el resultado de una fuerte volcadura de un autobús en la carretera Manuel Doblado-La Piedad.
Servicios de Emergencia de Guanajuato y Michoacán respondieron al reporte del accidente ocurrido alrededor de las siete de la mañana en el tramo que corresponde al municipio de Jesús María, Jalisco.
Al lugar acudieron diferentes cuerpos de auxilio, quienes confirmaron la muerte de tres personas en la escena y más tarde, se reportó la muerte de uno más, en un hospital de Manuel Doblado. Se dijo que entre los fallecidos hay dos personas de la comunidad de Los Ocotes, aunque no se ha informado nombre ni edad de ninguno de ellos.
