La actriz y comediante, María Elena Saldaña, mejor conocida como la Güereja, fue mencionada por Gabriel Deantes, exsecretario del Trabajo de Veracruz durante la administración de Javier Duarte, como una de las pruebas a su favor en el proceso que se le sigue por enriquecimiento ilícito.
El viernes pasado el exfuncionario acudió a comparecencia en la sala de juicios orales del Penal de Pacho Viejo, en el municipio de Coatepec, para enfrentar las acusaciones que le hace la Fiscalía General del Estado.
El exfuncionario presentó 119 datos de prueba para mostrar su inocencia justificando porqué cuanta con 59 millones de pesos en sus cuentas.
En la prueba 97, Gabriel Deantes aseguró que María Elena Saldaña, su cuñada, le donó 2.5 millones de pesos para su esposa.
Además de implicar a la actriz, Deantes señaló a su suegra, de quien también dijo dio una donación a su esposa, además, entre las pruebas se habla de 14 pagarés que supuestamente le dejó su padre, por casi 40 millones de pesos.
Por su parte, la Fiscalía General del Estado cuenta con pruebas, entre ellos los informes de la Comisión Nacional Bancaria y de Valores, en los que se da detalle de la evolución de las cuentas del imputado.
El ex Subsecretario de Finanzas y Administración, posteriormente Oficial Mayor de la Secretaria de Educación de Veracruz (SEV) y extitular de la Secretaria del Trabajo y Previsión Social (STPS), reiteró que su fortuna no se debe a enriquecimiento ilícito.
