Con globos en la mano y acompañados por unas 30 personas, la tarde de este miércoles, el diputado independiente de Jalisco, Pedro Kumamoto, y la activista Juanita Delgado acudieron a la junta local del Instituto Nacional Electoral para registrar sus aspiraciones a contender como fórmula independiente por un espacio en el Senado de la República.
Además de Kumamoto y Delgado, también acudieron con ellos otros integrantes de Wikipolítica que buscan una curul en el Congreso de la Unión: Pablo Montaño, quien buscará el distrito 8 de Jalisco; Rodrigo Cornejo, que tratará de competir en el distrito 10 y Alberto Valencia, quien intentará reunir firmas para ser candidato por el distrito 13.
Según el calendario electoral, si los documentos presentados por Kumamoto y Delgado están completos y en orden, podrán iniciar a recabar las más de 100 mil firmas que requiere el INE como respaldo de su candidatura a partir del 10 de octubre y tendrán un plazo de 90 días para lograr obtenerlas.
En tanto, los aspirantes a candidatos a diputados federales tendrán 60 días a partir del 10 de octubre para recabar las firmas de respaldo ciudadano.
