En conferencia fue informado por parte del director General del Centro Nacional de Programas Preventivos y Control de Enfermedades, Ruy López Ridaura que fue autorizado que las mujeres que se encuentren embarazadas (sin distinción de edad) podrán ser vacunadas contra el covid.
“Pueden recibir su vacunación de cualquier tipo de vacuna. Todas las vacunas disponibles en México son seguras. Se pueden aplicar durante el embarazo y el beneficio que tienen es muy importante”, aseguró.
Esto tras tener evidencia de que el virus se vuelve más agresivo durante el embarazo afectando tanto a la madre y al bebe obteniendo un mayor riesgo de muerte. Siendo así que las mujeres que se encuentren posterior a la novena semana de embarazo, son candidatas para ser inmunizadas en sus respectivos módulos de vacunación acorde al sitio en el que habiten.
